Our Story
It began with what we inherited.
A continuing journey shaped by land, animals, people and responsibility.
A legacy worth continuing
It began with what we inherited.
We are not trying to recreate our forefathers' world. We are trying to carry forward a fraction of what they stood for.
Land, animals, agriculture and responsibility were not separate ideas. They were simply part of life. The Group's newer enterprises are expressions of that same connection in a changing world.
The journey
From what we inherited to what we build.
01
LandFarming and a relationship with the land formed the original foundation.
02
DairyMilk, ghee and paneer grew from caring for our own animals and wanting food we could trust.
03
OmkarBreeding and raising equines expanded our understanding of animal care, nutrition and patience.
04
The questionWe became dissatisfied with what our animals were consuming and what we were consuming ourselves.
05
VitagrazoCuriosity became responsibility, and responsibility became a new enterprise.
06
The road aheadWheat, mangoes, future oils and other ideas may follow — but only when they are worthy of being built.
The question that stays
If we expect the best from what we care for, shouldn't we be equally careful about what goes into it?
That question sits underneath the Group's evolution. It is why our businesses do not exist merely as a portfolio. Each is connected to something we have experienced closely enough to care about.
We could have accepted it. Instead, we chose to ask whether we could do better.
